Singapore Student Visa


After receiving the acceptance letter from the University, an International student should apply for a student visa or student’s Pass 30-60 days before the start of the program. He/she has to apply to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) through the Student’s Pass Online Application & Registration System (SOLAR). The visa processing fee is S$30. There is also an additional insurance fee.
Required Documents for Student visa application
  1. University acceptance letter
  2. Valid passport
  3. Application fee + insurance fee payment receipt
  4. Completed student visa application form
  5. Two recent passport-sized photograph
  6. Birth certificate
  7. Medical certificate (according to ICA format)
  8. Bank statement and other documents to prove financial capability
  9. Transcripts of your previous degree/diploma
  10. Standardized tests like GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS scores
