After receiving the acceptance letter from the University, an International student should apply for a student visa or student’s Pass 30-60 days before the start of the program. He/she has to apply to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) through the Student’s Pass Online Application & Registration System (SOLAR). The visa processing fee is S$30. There is also an additional insurance fee.
Required Documents for Student visa application
- University acceptance letter
- Valid passport
- Application fee + insurance fee payment receipt
- Completed student visa application form
- Two recent passport-sized photograph
- Birth certificate
- Medical certificate (according to ICA format)
- Bank statement and other documents to prove financial capability
- Transcripts of your previous degree/diploma
- Standardized tests like GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS scores
